AI Empowered Parent Series Part 2

2025 Ethics of Artificial Intelligence Summit

Students from Kent Place and visiting schools discussed and learned about school policies regarding AI, the ethicality of AI, student use of AI, and AI in everyday life.

Artificial Intelligence Summit -

Ten talented students represented KPS at the Artificial Intelligence Summit hosted by Newark Academy on 1/11/2025! Jenna Carey and Ava Bulione, Grade 11 students, showcased the fantastic work done by the student-led group REBOOT on the Ethics of AI. Their efforts are a testament to the importance of responsible AI innovation.

No Phone Days - previous to our new phone policy, REBOOT would organize school-wide no-phone days to encourage socialization among students without the use of technology

Assembly with Max Stossel - Reboot organized an assembly for the Upper School with Max Stossel, the Youth & Education Advisor for the Center of Humane Technology

Empowered Parents Series - student members of REBOOT alongside experts talk about the effects of technology and social media on mental health so parents can learn to regulate their own and their children's use of technology
